Sharing such details can lead to delays in message delivery, as we manually review messages containing personal information to ensure everyone's safety and prevent online fraud.

Feel free to exchange contact information after completing a transaction or when arranging to meet in person. You may receive a safety warning when sharing or receiving contact details; however, this is simply a reminder and can be dismissed to proceed.

How can I contact prospective sellers or buyers?

For Sellers:

While you cannot directly contact buyers who have saved your listing, you can still get their attention by taking specific actions:

Price Reduction:

  • Lower your asking price by the minimum displayed on your listing.
  • Buyers who have saved your dress will be notified of the price drop.
  • This can encourage potential buyers to reach out to you.

For Buyers:

When you find a dress you love, you can easily contact the seller. Here's how:

  1. Visit the Dress Listing: Navigate to the listing of the dress you are interested in.
  2. Contact the Seller: Click the "Contact Seller" button on the listing page. Enter your message in the provided field. Press "Send" to deliver your message.

Message Delivery and Notifications:

  • Your message will be delivered shortly to the seller.
  • You will be notified via WeddingClosetHub chat when the seller replies to your inquiry.
  • All messages are stored in your account inbox to ensure you never miss a thing.

Important Note:

When contacting sellers, refrain from including personal contact details such as email addresses or phone numbers to maintain privacy and security.

How can I respond to the buyer or seller?

Steps to Respond:

  1. Log In: Ensure you are logged in to your WeddingClosetHub account.
  2. Access Your Inbox: Go to your Inbox on WeddingClosetHub.
  3. Select Conversation: Click on the conversation thread related to the inquiry you wish to respond to.
  4. Read or Send Message: You can now read existing messages in the conversation or send a new one to the buyer or seller.

On Website:

  1. Go to Your Inbox: Navigate to your Inbox on the WeddingClosetHub website.
  2. Click on Conversation: Click on the conversation thread you want to respond to.
  3. Read or Send Message: Read existing messages or compose a new one to respond.

By following these steps, you can easily respond to inquiries and messages from buyers or sellers on WeddingClosetHub.

How can I send more pictures or videos if the buyer requests more?

In addition to sending text messages, you can also share photos and videos of your dress through WeddingClosetHub chat.

Steps to Share Photos & Videos:

  1. Log In: Ensure you are logged in to your WeddingClosetHub account.
  2. Access Your Inbox: Navigate to your Inbox on WeddingClosetHub.
  3. Open Conversation: Open the conversation thread with the buyer who has requested more photos or videos.
  4. Share Photo or Video: Within the conversation, click on the camera icon. Select a photo or video file from your device to share it with the buyer.

On Website:

  1. Go to Your Inbox: Navigate to your Inbox on the WeddingClosetHub website.
  2. Open Conversation: Click on the conversation thread with the buyer.
  3. Share Photo or Video: Click on the camera icon within the conversation. Choose a photo or video file from your device to share with the buyer.

How do I contact the seller?

When you find a dress you love, you can easily contact the seller. Here's how:

Visit the Dress Listing:

Updating Your Email Address:

  1. Sign In: Log in to your WeddingClosetHub account.
  2. Go to Profile: Click "Profile" from the main menu.
  3. Update Email: Update your details in the "Email" tab.

By following these steps, you can easily manage your messages and ensure you receive notifications from prospective buyers on WeddingClosetHub.

What can I do if someone asks for payments to be made outside of WCH?

Occasionally, a seller might request payment outside of WCH, possibly unaware of the platform's rules. Kindly remind them and ask that they request payment through WCH chat.

If a seller insists on off-site payments or asks you to use a different service (other than PayPal), do not proceed with the payment. Instead, report the issue to us directly through the platform.

Why you shouldn't communicate outside of Wedding Closet Hub?

It's crucial to communicate exclusively through Wedding Closet Hub's chat system because we actively monitor for any suspicious activity within the platform. However, we cannot oversee messages exchanged outside of Wedding Closet Hub.

By keeping all communication within the platform, we can promptly detect and address any concerning behavior. If we identify any suspicious activity, we will take immediate action to protect your safety. This may include suspending the user involved, posting a message in your conversation, and closing it.

To benefit from these safety measures, refrain from sharing personal contact information and conduct all discussions through Wedding Closet Hub's messaging system.

If you need to share additional photos, you can do so directly within the Wedding Closet Hub's chat using the camera icon. This ensures that your conversations and transactions remain secure and protected.
