Manage your orders, track shipments, and handle returns

Proper packaging is essential to ensure your wedding dress arrives safely. Follow these guidelines:

  • Use a sturdy box: Choose a box large enough to fit the dress without excessive folding
  • Wrap in tissue paper: Cover the dress in acid-free tissue paper to prevent discoloration
  • Use a garment bag: Place the dress in a breathable garment bag before boxing
  • Add padding: Fill empty spaces with tissue paper or bubble wrap to prevent shifting
  • Seal securely: Use strong packing tape to seal all openings
  • Label clearly: Mark the package as "Fragile" and include the shipping label prominently

Avoid using plastic bags directly against the fabric, as they can trap moisture and cause damage.

If your package is damaged or lost during shipping, here's what you should do:

  1. Document the damage: Take photos of the packaging and any damage to the item
  2. Contact the carrier: File a claim with the shipping carrier using your tracking number
  3. Notify the seller: Message the seller through Wedding Closet Hub to inform them of the issue
  4. Contact support: Reach out to our support team for assistance with the dispute

This is why we always recommend using tracked and insured shipping methods. If the seller purchased shipping insurance, you may be eligible for compensation for the damaged or lost item.

Keep all packaging materials and documentation until the issue is resolved.

Shipping delays can happen for various reasons. Here's what to do:

  1. Check tracking: Use the tracking number to see the current status and any delay notifications
  2. Contact the carrier: Reach out to the shipping carrier for more information about the delay
  3. Message the seller: Contact the seller through Wedding Closet Hub chat to discuss the situation

Common reasons for delays include:

  • Weather conditions
  • High shipping volumes during peak seasons
  • Customs processing for international orders
  • Incorrect or incomplete address information

If your package is significantly delayed with no updates, contact our support team for assistance.

Our return policy is designed to protect both buyers and sellers:

  • Timeframe: Returns must be initiated within 14 days of receiving the item
  • Condition: Items must be returned in their original condition, unworn and unaltered
  • Documentation: Provide photos and a description of why you're returning the item

Valid reasons for returns:

  • Item significantly different from the listing description
  • Item arrived damaged
  • Wrong item received

Return shipping: The party responsible for return shipping costs depends on the reason for the return. If the item was misrepresented, the seller typically covers return shipping.

Please contact the seller first to discuss the return before initiating the process.

Once you receive your order, confirm delivery by following these steps:

  1. Log in to your Wedding Closet Hub account
  2. Go to My Orders in your account dashboard
  3. Find the order you received
  4. Click Mark as Delivered or Confirm Receipt

Important: Before confirming delivery:

  • Carefully inspect the dress for any damage or discrepancies
  • Compare the item to the listing photos and description
  • Try the dress on if possible to ensure it matches the listed measurements

Once you confirm delivery, the transaction will be completed and the seller will receive their payment. Only confirm receipt when you're satisfied with your purchase.

After shipping the item to the buyer, update your order status:

  1. Log in to your Wedding Closet Hub account
  2. Go to My Orders or Sales in your seller dashboard
  3. Find the order you need to update
  4. Click Mark as Shipped
  5. Enter the tracking number
  6. Select the shipping carrier
  7. Save the shipping details

Tips:

  • Always provide accurate tracking information
  • Ship within the timeframe promised in your listing
  • Message the buyer to let them know the item is on its way

Providing tracking information helps build trust and allows buyers to monitor their delivery.

Delivery times depend on several factors:

  • Domestic shipping: Typically 3-7 business days
  • International shipping: Usually 7-21 business days
  • Express shipping: 1-3 business days (if available)

Factors that affect delivery time:

  • Shipping method selected
  • Distance between seller and buyer
  • Customs processing for international orders
  • Weather and seasonal delays
  • Carrier processing times

You can track your order using the tracking number provided by the seller. If delivery is taking longer than expected, check the tracking status and contact the seller for updates.
